The Mountain Resort Properties, LLC offers our qualified guests an incredible opportunity to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful North Georgia for a three day, two night "mini" vacation. Before your arrival, a customized itinerary will be generated specifically for you and your guest to tour our resort properties.

Our Mountain Escape Packages:

ESCAPE #1: The Mountain, Lake and Stream VacationTrip one currently includes 3 days and 2 nights at the Best Western Mountain Resort Inn which is 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. This is a new hotel with indoor pool and hot tub and complimentary breakfast. It offers a sweeping panorama of The Highlands at East Ellijay and the surrounding mountain ranges. A tour includes inspections of the five Carters Lake groups of resort developments. The tour includes a visit to The Bluffs at Cartecay, The Preserve at Mountaintown Creek, Talking Rock Creek as well as Highlands Cove. No trip would be complete without a tour of the most beautiful lake in Georgia; Carters Lake which is 400 feet deep and it is recognized as having the best Bass fishing in the state.

ESCAPE #2: The Mountain Golfer’s RetreatThe second Mountain Escape is the Mountain Golfer’s Retreat. It will include a round of golf or a massage at Kingwood’s private European spa as well as three days and two nights lodging at the Inn at Kingwood Resort in Clayton Georgia. A breakfast buffet and tour of the facilities and resort are included. A trip to The Rock at Jocassee, just across the border into the Upcountry of South Carolina is also included. You will see the exciting new villages like Creekside at Rockshear and the 100 foot Whispering Falls both by golf cart during your guided tour. Lunch at the clubhouse is also included. Both resorts now offer the advantage of transferring membership (the initiation fee is included with home site purchases) from the owners themselves to the name of your chalet. This allows up to four golfers, per night of lodging to play 18 holes of golf using your membership. Your guests and tenants pay no green fees while staying in your chalet. (Golf cart not included).

ESCAPE #3: The Deluxe Mountain, Lake, River and Golf TripThe final tour is the DELUXE MOUNTAIN LAKE RIVER and GOLF TRIP. It last for four days and three nights and includes visits to all the Carters Lake resorts plus two days in Clayton visiting Kingwood and The Rock at Jocassee. This trip is highly recommended for licensed real estate agents as they will have clients interested in both types of offerings. A stop in Hiawassee Georgia on Lake Chatuge is part of this tour. After viewing the Shallow Creek Resort overlooking the lake you will be on your way to the Kingwood and Rock at Jocassee golf tour.

The typical Mountain Escape:(The tour can be for any three or four day period)

First Day (usually Friday)…arrival and check in at the resort. (There are generally no scheduled activities the first day. Simply let your tour guide know of anything special that you would like to see or do on your arrival date)

Second Day (Saturday)…….Map orientation and presentation. Tour of amenities, homes, home sites and villages. Different resorts are visited before and after lunch (which is included).
After one or both tours the use of the amenities are encouraged.

Third Day (Sunday)………….Any unfinished touring and/or paperwork can be accomplished if needed.
