Grants HUD's grants office - the Office of Departmental Grants Management and Oversight (ODGMO) was established to develop a Department-wide perspective on grants management Funds available - notices that tell you when grant funds are available and how you can apply Data Universal Numbers System (DUNS) Funding announcements - list of those who were awarded grants Grants.gov - a link to a web site that lists all Federal grant programs OMB Guidance - find guidance on E-Government, Streamlining Activities Under P.L. 106-107, Grants.gov formerly eGrants, HUD Final Information Quality Guidelines, and Grants Management Line of Business. Small business - a page created for small businesses. There's even a link to BusinessLaw.gov under federal resources. Programs Programs of HUD publication - Major Grant, Assistance, and Regulatory Programs Community planning and development Demonstrations and university and programs Government Sponsored Enterprises Single family housing programs Complaints Housing discrimination: Federal law prohibits housing discrimination based on your race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability. If you have been trying to buy or rent a home or apartment and you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a fair housing complaint. Bad landlords in federal housing: Hundreds of landlords have been fined and/or debarred from doing business with the federal government as a result of failing to provide safe and decent housing for the poor, while enriching themselves on taxpayer-funded subsidies. Land sales: The Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act protects consumers from fraud and abuse when buying or leasing land from developers. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a complaint by writing to HUD. Deceptive contractors: HUD insures loans to help people renovate and repair their homes through a program called Title 1.
